- Description
- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Directorate of Contracting, Fort Benning anticipates awarding a firm fixed price commercial performance based contract for repair, restoration, renovation and maintenance of building 31 and install a latrine and shower of same building at Camp Merrill, Dahlonega, Georgia. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. This procurement is set aside for Hubzone companies nationwide. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract to a single awardee. Solicitation will be issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) utilizing Sealed Bidding per FAR Part 14. This solicitation and all amendments will be issued via internet only at the Army Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and Federal Business Opportunities Website (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov on or about March 25, 2010 with an anticipated closing date of April 24, 2010. It is each Offerors responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the internet; it is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the ASFI and FedBizOpps website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. A job site visit will be scheduled based on posited date of solicitation. Specifications and drawings will be available at the jobsite visit.The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for the award. Representations and Certifications must also be on record through ORCA at www.orca.bpn.gov.
