Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT WANTS TO LEASE SPACE IN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI (SFO#0MO2052) REQUIREMENT: General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in leasing office space consisting of approximately 24,696 USF of general office space 4,000USF of general storage space and 2,000USF of warehouse space. Rentable office space must yield a minimum of 23,520 ANSI/BOMA Office Area (usable) square feet of office and related space. The space will be occupied by a Department of Justice client. LEASE TERM: Lease will be firm through June 30, 2018. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Consideration for an efficient layout will include, but will not be limited to, the following: size and location of interior fire (support) walls, size and number of columns, column placement, bay depths, window size and placement, convector size and placement, electrical and telephone accessibility, any angles, curves or offsets that will result in an inefficient use of space. The following space configurations will not be considered: space with atriums or other areas interrupting contiguous space; extremely long or narrow runs of space; irregularly shaped space configurations or other unusual building features adversely affecting usage. This client cannot be located near business or facilities deemed unacceptable by the client for security reasons. Space shall not be located within a base flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practicable alternative. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including a total of ninety-seven (97) on-site parking spaces. The agency shall have access to their space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Normal hours of operation for the agency are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays). LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in Kansas City, Missouri within the following boundaries: West: I-35 North: 6 th Street East: Holmes Street South: 31 st Street EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: •1) Building name and address. •2) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 3) Square footage offered. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative.
