- PWS RFQ COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M36V0169A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42, Effective 16 Jul 2010. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 561621with an $12.5 million size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote 0001, QTY 1 JB, Provide and Install Head End Digital Video (DV) Recording and Playback System/Package compatible with the system and equipment being installed during construction of facility. Package shall provide seamless interface and be fully coordinated with existing CCTV infrastructure and equipment. Shall be complete and functioning for recording, viewing, and playback from all cameras. See attached performance work statement for more quidance and list of equipment brand name or equal. A site visit will be conducted on 29 July 2010 at 10:00 am Eastern standard time. All contractors shall meet at the Dorchester Main Gate VCC Charleston AFB located off Dorchester Road. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to get on base. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. (vi) F1M36V0169A001 Installation of Head End Digital Video (DV) Recording and Playback System/Package on Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. (See attached performance work statement). (vii) Base performance period is upon completion of construction. Vendors shall have all equipment, materials, resources on hand for system installation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1.Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes. Technical factors are significantly more important than price.
