- The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price purchase order for the rebabbitting of six (6) thrust bearings, over a period of approximately four (4) years. The thrust bearings are located at Glen Canyon Dam in Page Arizona. They will be shipped to the winning vendor as they become available. Project Description: Rebabbitting of Thrust Bearings for Glen Canyon Dam The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332710 and the related small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. This acquisition falls under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, which authorizes the use of simplified acquisition procedures. Solicitation R10PS40005 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 22, 2010. The estimated date for receipt of quotes is August 3, 2010. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Contractor Registration (CCR) as required by FAR 4.1102 applies to this requirement. In addition, FAR 4.1200 Annual Representations and Certifications, Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) apply to this requirement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
