- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-08-G-0010 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC). The anticipated order will provide non-recurring engineering to develop shipboard tie-down arrangements for the MH-60S aboard the T-AKR 300 USNS BOB HOPE class of ships. The tasks will include analyzing the loads associated with those arrangements to insure the structural integrity of the aircraft bit-down points, landing gear and landing gear attachment points as well as the tie-down chains during normal, moderate and heavy weather wind conditions and associated ship accelerations. SAC is the only contractor with the necessary data and capability to perform this effort for the MH-60 aircraft. Numbered Note 22 applies.
