- Description
- The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) on behalf of the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to solicit a web-design and implementation firm with expertise in user-experience design and Alfresco web content management implementation. An Alfresco system integrator is required. The requirements are to incorporate ACHP's ACHP.gov and PreserveAmerica.gov websites into a single ACHP.gov website and to redesign ACHP.gov to improve the usability, information accessibility and content management for the site. The period of performance will be for a period of twelve (12) months. The Request for Quote is for the potential award of a single Purchase Order. The solicitation will be a Performance-Based, Commercial Item Acquisition conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5-Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541511-Custom Computer Programming Services with a size standard of $18M. This acquisition is being competed as full and open competition on an unrestricted basis. All interested parties may submit a quote. The competitive RFQ, any RFQ amendments and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.aqd.nbc.gov/solicitations under RFQ number N10PS18430. The solicitation, RFQ, is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about August 2, 2010 and will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential Offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order. In order to accommodate questions, potential Offerors will be able to submit questions, which will be due within five (5) calendar days of release of the RFQ, as well as participate in a Question & Answer (Q&A) session via conference call which the number of participants will be limited to twenty (20) due to capacity restrictions. However, the questions with their answers will be posted on aforementioned website in a timely manner. More information regarding the Q&A session will be available in the solicitation. Offerors will not be required to attend the Q&A session and non-attendance will not result in the Offeror being precluded from consideration for award of any resultant Purchase Order.
