Description
Plans/drawings Specifications Contractor packet to complete and return Solicitation packet ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is JULY 23, 2010.*** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Project includes: Clearing, grubbing, removal of existing log stringer trail bridge, excavation, and embankment of local material, aggregate placement, and fabrication and installation of proposed trail bridge. All work will be performed at each bridge site. There are three (3) bridges as base items (Simpson Creek, Coal Creek and Found Creek) and two (2) additional bridges as optional items (Noisy Creek and Indigo Creek). Bridge removal and construction shall be performed at Found Creek and Indigo Creek without machine access (tread width wider than 36") to the bridge site. It is expected that work on the Simpson Creek and Coal Creek bridges will be performed in the Fall of 2010, and the bridges at Found Creek, and Noisy Creek and Indigo Creek (should optional items be awarded) will be performed after October 15, 2010 and/or Spring of 2011. Project areas are located in Lane County. The solicitation is a Request for Proposal, resulting in a firm, fixed-price contract requiring both a price proposal and written response describing past performance of like work. Award will be made to the offeror providing the best value to the Government. This acquisition is a Total HUBZone set-aside per FAR 52.219-3. Contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed. To receive the solicitation package and any subsequent amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website. The Government Estimate is between $ 100,000.00 to 250,000.00. The successful offeror shall be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) prior to start of work. Estimated start work date is September 16, 2010.
