- Title: BRAND NAME - NetApp Snap Manager Licenses and Support This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NGA plans to issue a firm fixed price order under FAR Part 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210. The requirement is for the following items: 4 each - SnapManager for SQL Software Server; 4 each - 12 months support for SnapManager for SQL Server License; 3 each - SW Sub, SMSQL Per Server, 12 month renewal; 3 each - SW Sub, SMSQL Per Server, 10 month renewal. The reference number for this Request for Quote (RFQ) is G10133AS01. NGA plans to issue a firm fixed price Purchase Order to an authorized reseller of these products. The Purchase Order will be issued under FAR Parts 12 and 13. BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION: The NetApp products have already been integrated into the NGA enterprise. The NetApp products are the only software suite that fulfills the form, fit, and function requirements of the NGA at this time. No other software will allow NGA to consolidate storage resources and perform database backups on a NetApp storage filer. SnapManager for SQL operates only in the described environment; NetApps storage filers and Microsoft Windows SQL database servers or without taking the NetApp filers offline. By having zero downtime, we sustain user productivity and customer satisfaction. This is the only product that will provide such capability. No other software meets the minimum requirements of NGA at this time. Vendor's that respond to this solicitation must be authorized resellers of SnapManager. Vendors shall quote all or none of the listed items. Delivery is FOB Destination. Delivery will be made to: NGA Arnold, 3838 Vogel Rd., Arnold, MO 63010-6238. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Vendors are required to submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification--Commercial Items, with their offer.
