- A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. The proposed project is for the construction of Phase 1B of the Tactical Training Base (TTB) at Fort Dix (Burlington County), New Jersey. Project includes a Latrine /Shower Building (approx. 5,000 SF), for 1,250 soldiers per day, a Sanitary Disposal / Septic System, and a potable water supply system comprised of two deep wells, a well house building, a storage tank, and distribution system. NOTE: DOES NOT INCLUDE LAND ACQUISITION. Contract duration is estimated at 490 Days. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS is 236220. All interested Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to this survey by email NLT August 06, 2010 by 1200 hours. Responses should include: (1) Identification and verification of the companys small business status. (2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed project. (3) Descriptions of Experience Provide Descriptions of your firms past experience, as a prime contractor, on projects with greater than 95% construction completion or those projects completed` within the last five years. Projects submitted should be similar in size, scope, and dollar value. Projects considered similar in scope to this project include shower / bathroom facilities, sanitary disposal / septic systems, and potable water supply systems including deep wells, water treatment and water distribution systems. Projects similar in size will include the approximate square footages of major features. Projects of similar dollar value will fall within the range of $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. Based on definitions above, for each project submitted include current percentage of construction complete and the date when it was or will be completed, scope of the project, size of the project, dollar value of the project, and the percentage of work that was self-performed. (4) A statement of the portion of the work that will be self performed on this project, and how it will be accomplished. Please only include a narrative of the requested information; additional information will not be reviewed.
