- The U.S. Dept of Commerce, NOAA, NESDIS /Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station (WCDAS) has a requirement for one (1) each Delta Microwave quadraplexer, Part Number S5437, REV C. Delivery will be to NOAA Wallops CDA Station, 35663 Chincoteague Road, Wallops Island, VA 23337. Delta Microwave is the manufacturer of the quadraplexer for the 14.2 Meter Antenna System at Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station located in Wallops Island, Virginia. The quadraplexer was designed and built by Delta Microwave and is an integral replacement part of the radio frequency electronics of the antenna system. No other brand will satisfy this requirement. Wallops CDA Station provides critical environmental data to world-wide customers and it is imperative that all ground systems supporting the receiving and transmission of this data are fully functional twenty four hours per day, seven days per week. Interruption of the receiving or transmission of this data to NOAA Wallops customers could compromise the lives and safety of U.S. Citizens. The purchase of this specific Delta Microwave quadraplexer enables WCDAS to maintain the stock level of spare parts necessary to ensure the integrity of the 14.2 Meter Antenna System and ensure that WCDAS continues to provide continuous flow of critical data to its customers. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for this requirement. This is a 100 percent small business set aside procurement under NAICS code 334290, with a size standard of 750 employees. The RFQ for this requirement will be made available for download on July 26, 2010, with responses due by 1 PM, August 02, 2010. No hard copies will be issued. Interested parties are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any) and monitoring the Fed Biz Ops web site to ensure that they have the most up to date information regarding the acquisition. Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) with an active status, to be eligible for award. All questions resulting from this notice or subsequent solicitation document must be submitted in writing to Terri Ford at Terri.L.Ford@noaa.gov.
