- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-10-RP-0096, which is restricted as a small business set aside procurement for Hydralazine HCL Tablets, for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and all option 2 state Veteran Homes. The estimated annual usage is as follows: 16,932 bottles of 100mg Tabs in 100s; 30,733 bottles of 10mg Tabs in 100s; 7,983 bottles of 10mg Tabs in 1000s; 46,400 bottles of 25mg Tabs in 100s; 14,428 bottles of 25mg Tabs in 1000s; 31,276 bottles of 50mg Tabs in 100s; 12,878 bottles of 50mg Tabs in 1000s. The contract period will be for one year plus four pre-priced one-year option periods. The items must be awarded in an aggregate for continuity of care and patient safety. The contract items will be distributed through the VAs' and DoDs' respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs. Offerors must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique NDC number. Tablets must be compatible with automated dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canisters, Optifil, etc.). If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted stating that the manufacturer will provide this product to the offeror and the agreement shall remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Solicitation No VA-797-10-RP-0096 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about Aug 13, 2010 with a closing date of 8/30/10.
