Description

Upper Stub Wing Panel The Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, MD, is seeking to procure (15) left hand Stub Wing Upper Access Panels P/N D4FDY1H464301 and (15) right hand Stub Wing Upper Access Panels, P/N D4FDY1H4464401. This procurment will have an option for (15) more left and right hand Stub Wing Upper Access Panels to follow this. Delivery of no fewer than 2 screens shall be delivered 90 days after contract award and at least 2 each month until contract completion. It is the intent of the Government to negotiate and award a fixed price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-10-G-0017 for this hardware. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The proposed effort will be awarded on a sole source basis to VX Aerospace Corporation. 2080 Highway 70E, Morganton, North Carolina, which is the sole supplier of the Stub Wing Upper Access Panels. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. FSC - 1560 NAICS - 336413
