- The scope of work consists of but is not limited to removing and replacing the existing Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and the Ceiling Hung Unit Heaters in approximately 25 locations throughout the Warren E. Burger U.S. Courthouse This procurement will be set aside for small business concerns and the North American Industry Classification System (NAIC) code is 238220 with a Small Business Administration size standard of $14 million. The estimated project magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for the aforementioned services. Performance based contracting does not apply to this procurement as this acquisition is for construction services. Any subsequent solicitation and documents related to this procurement will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov). FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. Demonstration videos and assistance with using FedBizOpps is available through the website. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as Central Contract Registration (CCR), and is available for use by all Federal agencies. No hard copies of the solicitation or related documents will be mailed. Contractors are responsible for downloading their own copies of this solicitation, amendments, and other documents related to this solicitation. In addition, all government contractors must be registered in CCR prior to receiving an award, as of October 1, 2003. You may access CCR at www.bpn.gov. As of January 1, 2005 all vendors are required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission process per the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be set at the time the full solicitation is posted.
