- Description
- Acquisition Service Area Office (ASAO) 8, Orlando Florida VA Medical Center, anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to upgrade the existing room 123 at the Lakemont Campus for use as a Multipurpose Center for the VA. This scope will primarily deal with the build-out of walls for the Tele-Presence room, build-out of various soffit systems with in the ceiling structure, new wall and floor finishes, all associated fire sprinkler work for the dropped soffits and ceiling areas. The selected contractor shall be responsible for providing demolition, labor, materials, equipment and manpower necessary to include but not limited to the following services: Light gauge metal framing, hollow metal frames and solid core doors, drywall and finishes, suspended ceilings, painting, removal of existing and replacing with new flooring, fire protection, HVAC, electrical and Information Technology (IT) data and networking. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET-ASIDE 100% TO ELIGIBLE SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) FIRMS. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 million. All interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/ and registered at the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/general_user/default.asp as a SDVOSB firm.
