- The principal components of work under this solicitation include the following: Perform erosion repairs at 10 locations throughout the Farm;Construct riprap drop structures at 5 locations;Re-route overflow drainage at 2 pressure reducing valve (PRV) tanks;Construct concrete plug inside existing 30-inch diameter concrete pipe at 3 locations;Furnish and place aggregate base material on 2 existing roadways;Remove, ship to manufacturer for repairs, and re-install 3 existing flow-meters;Re-establish existing systems monitoring computer program and equipment for the existing farm irrigation system;Test existing cathodic protection system and relocate 1existing test station;Electrical, mechanical, and civil modifications to existing High Pressure Pipeline vault;Furnish and install 2 "STOP" signs;Modify existing buried valve operation access pipe;Remove, repair, and relocate existing triangular barrier;Modify existing pipe equipment in existing PRV Tank 10+94 vault;Furnish and install a sump pump with associated electrical and mechanical appurtenances in 4 existing PRV tank vaults;Coat existing aluminum covers for vaults and pull boxes;Apply Rigid Urethane Roof Installation to existing vault covers;Furnish spare parts for various Farm and vault equipment; andPerform various fence and gate repairs; install new gate The Product Service Code is Y245, NAICS Code is 237990, Sized Standard is $31.0 and the SIC code is 1629. The Solicitation documents will be available, on or about August 16, 2010. The Bid opening date is September 16, 2010 @ 2:00pm. The price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The work must be completed with 180 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Solicitations will be available electronically through FEDBIZOPPS. REMINDER THIS IS HUBZONE SET-ASIDE and certification of HUZONE status will be required from the Small Business Administration prior to award.
