- Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z4530119A003; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-42 effective 16 Jul 2010; Defense DCN 20100713 effective 13 Jul 2010, and AFAC 2010-0402 effective 20 Jul 2010. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside; The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812990. The business size standard is $7m. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is Q518. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7999. Travis AFB has a requirement for an Instructor for Pregnancy/Post-Partum and Walking/Running classes at the Fitness Center/Health and Wellness Center (HAWC), in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. CLIN 0001 - INSTRUCTOR FOR PREGNANCY/POST-PARTUM AND WALK/RUN CLASSES AT THE FITNESS CENTER/HAWC. CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED IN ONE HOUR INCREMENTS, M-F, between the hours of 7am - 9pm. Classes are offered on days and at times that meet the needs of the participants. At least one class per week will be taught and no more than eleven classes per week. Class schedules are flexible to accommodate the base population's needs. CLASSES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: MONDAY: 4:30pm Pilates for Walkers/Runners; 5:30pm Run/Walk Class TUESDAY: 4:00pm Prenatal/Postpartum Cardiolates WEDNSDAY: 4:30pm Pilates for Walkers/Runners; 5:30pm Run/Walk Class THURSDAY: 4:00pm PRENATAL/Postpartum CARDIOLATES Monday - Friday: Conducts Pilates One-on-One Reformer Training, for clients referred by the HAWC or Fitness Center for those needing sports injury rehabilitation or Pre/Post-Natal Exercise programming up to 5 hours per week for scheduling clients according to their schedules and contractor's schedule. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. Quotes shall be valid until 02 October 2010 The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (June 2008). FAR 52.232-18 Availibility of Funds. - Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. FAR 52.204-9 Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
