- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GSA SCHEDULE 736 #GS-07F-0601N RECOVERY ACT – THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health itends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis with: Parker Tide Corp, 818 Connecticut Ave, NW, Suite 325 Washington, DC 20006. No solicitation exists for this requirement. The service is commercial s defined in FAR Part 2. The total contracted dollar amount will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold; Therefore it will be procured under FAR 13.106. It is believed that Parker Tide Corp is the sole source for this requirement under the authority of FAR parts 13.106-1 (b). The Office of the Director will procure professional services for the Office of Strategic Coordination to include varies tasks related to ARRA projects as outlined in the Statement of Work. A Statement of Work is attached. The North American industry Classification System Code is 541611 and the size standard is $7,000. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes preparation. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the established time frame is invited to submit written notification to the Contract Specialist by August 5th, 2010 at 1pm EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm’s ability to provide the stated capability. Information can be sent to Contract Specialist, Aleise Roberts at aleiser@od.nih.gov. No telephone request will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received the NIH will proceed with a sole source purchase order.
