- PROJECT NAME: Renwick Dam Rehabilitation, Phase 1 ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $1,000,000 – 1,500,000 LOCATION: Pembina County, North Dakota SUMMARY: This project is for the Renwick Dam Rehabilitation Phase 1, Pembina County, North Dakota. Work is as detailed in the plans and specifications and includes: Clearing and Grubbing; Structure removal and salvage, asphalt pavement milled; Structure removal, guard rails, concrete foundation and miscellaneous; Pollution control; Seeding temporary cover; Seeding and mulching, embankment; Mulch netting; Construction surveys; Mobilization and demobilization; Traffic control; Water for construction; Removal of water; Excavation common, Old Waste Area, Manholes and Drain Outlets, Existing Embankment Removal, Blanket Drains and Foundation Stripping and Foundation Cutoff; Excavation, unclassified, rock riprap removal; Excavation, common, upstream berm; Earthfill embankment, Class A; Earthfill upstream berm Class A; Fine drainfill; Coarse drainfill; Topsoiling; 48 inch dia. manhole risers; Manhole base slab, cover slab and casting; 12 inch dia. slotted PVC pipe, SDR17; 12 inch dia. solid PVC pipe, SDR 17; 12 inch dia. CM pipe; 12 inch dia. CM pipe coupling bands; Rock riprap replacement; Gravel bedding; Settlement plates; Contractor quality control; Geotextile, and Field office, Type B. TIME FRAMES/DATE: Performance time, including mobilization and demobilization and days for inclement weather is 354 days assuming 10 hour work-days 5 days a week and with a seasonal shutdown period of Dec 1 through May 1. Prospective contractors must have a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration can be completed at the CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors must complete the annual representative and certifications electronically via the Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration can be completed at the ORCA web site at http://orca.bpn.gov. Bid opening is August 31, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. CST. A site showing is being planned for August 19, 2010. Additional information on the site visit will be in the solicitation package.
