- Title - RECOVERY - NIH Business Systems Healthier Financial Management Initiatives RECOVERY ACT ACTION THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH (NIH) BUSINESS SYSTEMS OFFICE (NBS), OFFICE OF THE DIRECOTER (0D) In accordance with FAR Part 5.7 Publicizing Requirements under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act this is a notification of modification to the performance based procurement which was previously competed under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule 70, SIN 132-51. This requirement has been awarded as a fixed priced-award term delivery order using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. The task order is for administrative, technical and logistical support and was competed and awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 8.4 Federal Supply Schedules. It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to modify (modification no. 0001) contract number HHSN-276-2010-00167U (ARRA funded) with Price Waterhouse Coopers, LLP (DUNS No. 017035762) to revise the schedule of work to be performed under this task order. This modification has been approved by the NIH Management Budget and Work Group (MBWG) and the NBS Director, and will provide services within the base year that were initially scheduled for the option years of the contract. The contractor provides support to assist with system engineering and integration activities utilizing Project Management principles to support the implementation of the ARRA, including activities to improve accountability, transparency and reporting, and mitigating the risk of fraud, waste and abuse, of all federal funds including ARRA funds. The in-scope modification will be to complete tasks, on a firm fixed price basis, according to the schedule provided below: Base Period Projects • PMS-NBS Integration • HHS Payroll-NBS Integration • Oracle Projects Reimbursable Agreements (All Phases) • Oracle Projects Technical Effort (Requirements Phase) Option Year 1 Projects • Oracle Projects Indirect Projects (Requirements Phase) • Oracle Projects Indirect Projects (Design Phase) • Oracle Projects (Build Phase) All other terms and conditions identified in the NIH HFMI PWS and RFP (Including Amendment No. 0001 to the RFP) remain in effect. The revised timeline will be incorporated into the existing PWS as Amendment No. 0001. The contractor shall provide resources in quantities and timelines in accordance with the contract agreement. This modification (Mod. No. 0001) has been reviewed, approved and awarded as of 5/18/2010 in the amount of $4,606,816.32. The initial award amount for the base year of services under this task order was $4,013,093.32; the new total dollar amount for the base year of this award is $8,616,909.64.
