- PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Project Set Aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business. Project Name: Asbestos Abatement for 3 areas within Buffalo National River. Location: Buffalo National River, Newton and Marion Counties, Arkansas. Award will be made to one Contractor. The National Park Service is soliciting competitive proposals for a fixed-price service contract to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all operations required to perform asbestos abatement in structures located on Buffalo National River. All work shall be done in conformance to the Unites States (US) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) laws, National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and Department of Transportation regulations for transporting asbestos-containing waste.The NAICS code for this project is 562910 and the small business size standard is $14 million. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted on electronic commerce on August 2, 2010, at the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee notification.
