- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Automated Logic Corporation, 1011 Alcon Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 for a furnish and installation of a direct digital control (DDC) system to control twenty (20) furnaces and air conditioning units servicing the Residential Living Villas in buildings 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, and 68. System shall include: Direct digital and electrol control system to control 20 furnaces and air conditioning units to serve the villas. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and ability to provide an alternate service plan that will meet the capabilities and functionality described above may notify the Contract Specialist, in writing, no later than 2 p.m. on July 12, 2010. Such notification must include a complete description of the service agreement that is required including narrative and qualifications as described above. Responses may be sent to Jesse.Rumbel@va.gov or mailed to Jesse Rumbel, Contract Specialist (90C-H) VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
