Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICEThe National Park Service (NPS) anticipates soliciting for proposals and awarding a construction contract for Cyclic Bridge Maintenance in Glacier National Park.A) Offerors: All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the National Park Service. Award is not restricted to small businesses. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310, the size standard is $33.5M. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656.B) Brief Project Description: Provide maintenance and repairs to seven existing bridgesC) Estimated Price Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000.D) Schedule: All dates are tentative and may change. Issue Request for Proposals July 15, 2010; Proposals due August 15, 2010; Award contract August 20, 2010 E) Solicitation: The NPS anticipates issuing the Request for Proposals (RFP) in July 2010. The RFP and future amendments will be available, without charge, through www.fbo.gov. Enter the solicitation number N1435100130 in the search block. F) Plans and Specifications: The NPS anticipates construction documents will also be available in July 2010. Contractors will be able to obtain an electronic copy of the project specifications and drawings by download through the fbo.gov portal.G) Proposed Contract Type: Firm fixed price contract with lump-sum pricing. H) Proposal Evaluation Criteria / Factors: Award will be made to the Offeror presenting the best value to the Government.
