- This is a combined/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-KS-10-00004 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular to date. The requirement is Small Business Set-Aside with a NAICS code of 541360 (Geophysical Mapping and Surveying Services) and a size standard of $4.5 million. DESCRIPTION: U.S. EPA Region 10 in Seattle, WA seeks to procure Airborne Thermal Infrared (TIR) Image data depicting the thermal conditions during peak temperatures for 70 stream miles within the Siletz River Basin in Oregon. This contract includes TIR data acquisition, image processing and analysis, preliminary interpretations and a final comprehensive report. Please see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for details. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: from Award Date to December 30, 2010 QUOTES ARE DUE BY: July 13, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) (CDT). All RFQ inquires along with all contract/technical questions must be submitted to Leeanna Wilder through email at wilder.leeanna@epa.gov by July 9, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. (CDT). AWARD: The selection resulting from this request for quotation will be made on the basis of the lowest priced technically acceptable quote with acceptable past performance from the responsible contractor who meets the minimum qualifications listed in the Statement of Work. CLAUSES: Wherever the words offer, proposal, offerors, or similar terms are used in this solicitation or in any applicable provision, they shall be read to mean quote, quotation, quoter, vendor, or similar corresponding term to reflect that this solicitation is a Request for Quotation not a Request for Proposal or an Invitation for Bid.
