- The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System has a requirement for the provision of medical gas cylinders to the VA Medical Center located in Biloxi MS and three outpatient clinics located in the Florida panhandle. The anticipated contract period is a base period commencing on October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, with four one-year option periods. The contractor will be required to provide medical cylinder gases to the locations specified in the solicitation. The gases to be provided include, but are not limited to compressed Medical Air, Medical Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen, Nitrous Oxide, and specialty medical gas mixtures in various cylinder sizes. The Contractor will also be required to provide Liquid Nitrogen to refill VA tanks at each location. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 325120, Industrial Gas Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. The applicable NAICS code is one where the Small Business Administration (SBA) has waived the non-manufacturer rule. This procurement will be conducted as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. Offers will be accepted only from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns that appear in the Vet Biz Registry at the time of due date for offers.
