- Quotes are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Spring Creek Campground Toilet Replacement project located on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. This project is to furnish and install pre-cast concrete vault toilets at the Spring Creek Campground on the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Work includes, but is not limited to, arranging to have an existing toilet pumped empty prior to removal; removing and disposing of the existing toilet building and vault; excavating and preparing sites for a new vault toilet; backfilling and compacting around the new vaults after placement; and placing crushed aggregate around the buildings. The contractor is responsible for purchasing the toilets and arranging for delivery, placement and assembly of the new toilets. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The approximate start work date will be September of 2010. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, August 13, 2010. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately July 16, 2010 and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http:www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov.. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
