Description
The Purpose of this modification is to make the following changes to the presolicitation notice: From: 16-- DAMPENER, FLUTTER, Direct your requests and communication to: ATTN: DSCR-AHA, Dawn Taylor, Contracting Officer, via email dawn.taylor@us.army.mil or facsimile 256-955-8601. No telephone requests will be accepted. PRON: AX0F0553AX. The Government has a requirement for a quantity of 32 each of a Dampener, Flutter, NSN: 1650-01-285-3024, Part Number: 70106-08100-046, applicable to the BE, UH -60 (Blackhawk), with deliveries to Corpus Christi, TX. 78419-5255. The required delivery is 32 each, 450 days after contract award (DACA). This item is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Cage Code: 78286, Rotair Industry Inc., Cage Code: 54878 and W and G Machine Company, Cage Code: 33682. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request SAMSAR. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The required delivery is 200 each, 159 days after contract award (DACA). This item is restricted to Boeing Co., Cage Code: 8V613, Carleton Life Support Systems Inc., Cage Code: 99251. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request SAMSAR.
