- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Leetown, Science Center, 11649 Leetown Road, Kearneysville, WV 25430, has a requirement to provide and install two roof hatches ( 30"X36") in the roof of the degasser pump house, provide and install one stationary, 500 lb capacity Jib-Crane, provide and install one 500 lb electric chain hoist with 20' of lift at 32 fpm with plain push trolley. Site visits to the Facility may be arranged by contacting Joseph Roach at (304) 724-4407. It is recommended that all contractors visit the site prior to submitting a proposal. Contractors will be asked to provide a minimum of three (3) references. The contractor must be insured for property damage and personal liability. Contractor must be properly licensed and bonded. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform all work under this project. RFQ 10ERQQ0425 will be issued on or about July 1, 2010 with written quotes due on July 20, 2010. The NAICS Code is 236210. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside. The price range for this project is between $20,000.00 to $28,000.00 The anticipated award date of the contract is July 27, 2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the government, using the best value concept, price and other factors considered.
