- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability and capability of small businesses included certified 8(a), Small Disadvantaged, and HUBZone firms, veteran and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and women owned small businesses to fulfill the requirements as listed in the below Performance Work Statement under the NAICS Code #624190. This notice is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, Solicitation, Request for Quotes, or an indication that the Government will contract for the items contained herein. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contrct, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this sources sought. Any responses received will not be used as a proposal. FORT DIX is ONLY seeking sources, for informational purposes only, to provide the requirements as listed in the below Performance Work Statement. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Responses to this notice shall be emailed to the attention of maureen.e.coughlin@us.army.mil by 4:30 PM on 6 July 2010. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date and all interested parties must respond to this announcement. A response to the sources sourght synopsis is NOT a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The proposed contract action is for services and supplies Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Computer Sciences Corporation Defense Group) and under FAR Part 13.5. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to provide personnel for the Army Reserve Family Readiness Program. The contractor will provide high quality, timely and efficient Family Programs support services to Soldiers, civilian, and their Family members on behalf of the Army Reserve Family Programs mission. This program is needed is to educate and prepare geographically dispersed Military families for mobilization. The work encompasses 8 Army Reserve locations throughout the US, Europe, Guam, Spain and American Somoa. Contractor will also be required to submit a DD254, Dept. of Defense, Contract Security Classification Specification. 0001 - Outreach & Support 0002 - Management Support 0003 - Army Family Action Plan 0004 - Education & Training Specialist 0005 - Mobilization & Deployment Specialists 0006 - ODC's 0007 - Manpower Reporting 0008- Family Program Assistants 0009- Family Program Web Staff 0010- Operations Specialists PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 10/21/10-10/20/11 12 months, with one year option period
