- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance in anticipation of a firm fixed price contract with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice and attached hard copy of the solicitation posted in NECO. This announcement constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation and is the only notice and solicitation that will be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is M67865-10-T-0033. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-40 and DFARS Change Notice 20100422. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions which are included in the RFQ. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 443112 and the Small Business Size Standard is $9.0 Mil. This is 100% Small Business set-aside, competitive procurement action. The MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR - CONTRACTING OFFICE SAN DIEGO, CA requests responses from qualified Small Business sources capable of providing: Wireless headsets for Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Fire Department in accordance with the attached solicitation Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government requires new equipment in response to this solicitation Offerors must identify any used, reconditioned, re-manufactured, or recovered Government material in their quotes. Offerors shall also provide descriptive literature for all equal items. The lack of descriptive literarature for equal parts will result in offer deemed non-responsive. All awarded items under subsequent contract are expected to be delivered within 30 days of Offeror receipt of contract. This announcement will close at 03:30 PM PST, 22 Jul 2010 when all offers are due. All qualified, responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the agency. Please submit all questions to vivian.flotildes@usmc.mil by or before 4:00 PM PST on or by or before 16 Jul 2010. Offerors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. DOD no longer issues awards to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. All proposals shall include price(s), a Point of Contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms, and completion of FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications. Vendors should regularly access the NECO and FEDBIZopps Web Sites to check for amendments that may be issued for this solicitation. EMAIL SUBMISSIONS TO RFQ WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Offers can be submitted via facsimile, via mail, or hand carried. Offers sent via facsimile can be sent to 858 577 1492, referencing the RFQ number. Offers via the US Postal system should be mailed to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, 8671 Obregon Rd, San Diego, CA 92145-2007. Hand carried offers must be delivered to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, Bldg 8671, Obregon Rd, San Diego, CA 92145 during weekdays from 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, and excluding federal holidays.
