Description
** This sources sought synopsis is amended as follows. Please note: In addition to NAICS code 541330 (Engineering Services - $4.5M) stated in the initial synopsis, NAICS code 541620 (Environmental Consulting Services - $7.0M) is also being considered for this potential acquisition. Therefore, responses to this Sources Sought Notice are desired from small businesses that qualify under both NAICS code 541330 and 541620. Additionally, potential small businesses shall indentify their business type and indicate which NAICS code they qualify under. This will assist the Government in making the appropriate acquisition decision for the planned procurement. In addition to the technical environmental services stated in the initial synopsis, services may also include the preparation of Environmental Condition of Property (ECP) reports and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), studies/reports, management plans, technical evaluations, permit applications, preliminary engineering designs, cost estimates and supporting documents for corrective projects, and performing monitoring actions. Projects may involve regulatory compliance, planning, design, operation and maintenance in any one or a combination of the following: a.Water, wastewater and storm water utility investigations and assessment; b.Water source, treatment and distribution systems; c.Sewage and industrial waste collection, treatment, disposal systems, and NPDES permit; d.Industrial wastewater pretreatment systems; e.Sludge handling and disposal systems; f.Storm water discharge permit and management, including LID; g.Oily waste collection and treatment facilities; h.Spill prevention/response management; i.Water and wastewater utility system security vulnerability assessments; j.Hydrogeological Modeling; k.Air inventory, permit, and modeling, and air/ODS management plan; l.Pollution Prevention (P2); m.Solid waste utility system assessment and management plans, recycling and landfill closure plan; n.Surveying and Cadastral A-E firms that are interested and meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Information Summary Matrix in its entirety, which will be reviewed and evaluated upon receipt. Responses must be submitted in Microsoft Word NO LATER THAN 10:00 A.M. HAWAII STANDARD TIME, ON 14 JULY 2010 via email to richard.keener@navy.mil. All submittals will not be returned.
