- Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Deadwater Salmon River Road Stabilization project located on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. This project includes the construction of a traffic bypass, removing the existing asphalt surfacing, constructing riprap embankments, constructing talus rock embankments, furnishing and placing crushed aggregate and asphalt pavement, placing topsoil, turf establishment, furnishing and planting trees and shrubs, and providing all necessary traffic control. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Proposal. The approximate start work date will be July 15, 2011. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, August 16, 2010. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately July 16, 2010 and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http:www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov.. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
