- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N00189-10-Q-2369. The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to procure OPNET Modeler (2 licenses, and SITL, 1 license including one year maintenance. **Please see attachment for specifics. Contractors shall submit a unit price and a total price for the items included in this acquisition. Pricing shall be FOB destination. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are being solicited on a brand name basis only. Note: Items to be delivered FOB Destination to: Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC)18405 FRONTAGE ROAD, BLDG 1451, DAHLGREN, VA 22448, USA. TO SUBMIT AN OFFER/QUOTE ON THIS REQUIREMENT, VENDOR MUST BE AN AUTHORIZED OPNET TECHNOLOGY INC. RESELLER. ANY OFFER THAT DOES NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Commercial Items) and FAR 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) procedures. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 443120. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Contract Specialist via email ONLY; marisol.latoison@navy.mil. Lack of registration in the central contractor registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov) will prevent a vendor eligible for an award. Quotes are due no later than Tuesday, July 06, 2010, 02:00 p.m. EST by email to Marisol.latoison@navy.mil.
