- RECOVERY-THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED IN WHOLE BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). This synopsis is for the purpose of announcing the following requirement: Install underground conduit and RV meter pedestals in preparation for electrical service to three campground host sites. Trenching and Backfilling, Install primary and secondary underground power conduit in Arizona Public Service (APS) and USFS approved trenches. Install APS provided pads for transformer/switching cabinets, pull boxes, and pull cord. Install Contractor provided meter pedestal assemblies at 3 host site locations. Install concrete capped trenches @ drainage crossings and repair existing asphalt pavement at road crossings. Install segmented block retaining wall. Minor clearing, brushing and earthwork incidental to trenching work. On or about July 16, 2010 the solicitation documents will be available on FBO. This solicitation will include the statement of work, specifications, and applicable drawings. A pre-bid meeting will be scheduled at this time. No specs or additional details will be released until the solicitation is posted. The Government's estimate for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid bonds for 20% of the bid price must be submitted before or at the time of the bid. Bid bonds MUST be mailed to the Contracting Office address. Performance and Payment bonds for 100% of the project price must be submitted within 10 days of the contract award. All proposals MUST be provided via the www.fbo.gov website or provided on CD to the Contracting Office before the Close Date.
