Description
This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition of fleet and transient services. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools materials and supervision necessary to perform services on aircraft at March Air Reserve Base, California. A firm fixed price and firm fixed price requirements contract with a one year basic period and 4 one-year options is contemplated with an anticipated award date of 1 Sep 10. The contractor shall provide fleet services to aircraft permanently or temporarily assigned to the 452 Air Mobility Wing (normally C-17's and KC-135's). Services shall be performed on the flight line parking ramp. Defleet: The contractor shall remove: Dirty coffee jugs and water igloos soiled flight blankets and pillows and used PAX kits. The contractor shall remove all trash and used meals and dispose of properly. Fleet: The contractor shall provide the following: Deliver cleaned coffee jugs and cleaned igloos with filled with ice water, clean flight blankets and pillows, replacement PAX kits and expendables. The contractor shall provide transient services. This services involves the transporting of aircrew members, Duty PAX and Space A as follows: Aircrew Members: The contractor shall transport flight crew members and their gear to and from March Air Reserve Base flight line to on-base and off base locations. On base locations include but are not limited to, base armory, billeting, various squadrons, maintenance, motor pool and eating facility. The government will evaluate offers in accordance with FAR part 15. Award will be made to the responsible contractor whose proposal conforming to the solicitation represents the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. This competitive acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 488190 with a size standard of $6M. The solicitation and all attachments will be electronically issued a may be accessed by viewing and downloading on the government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fbo.gov. Anticipated solicitation issue date is 27 Jul 10.
