- The Wilkes Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WBVAMC) is seeking sources under NAICS Code 621512 (size standard of $13.5 million) that are able to provide Teleradiology Services, including CT, plain, MRI/A, ultrasound and nuclear medicine films. Services are required on weekdays from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, and on weekends (4:30 pm Friday to 7:00 am Monday), nights (4:30 pm to 7:00 am) and holidays (7:00 am to 4:30 pm). The purpose of this notice is to perform market research to determine if there is interest from the following socio-economic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), HUB Zone, Small Disadvantaged Business (8a), Woman Owned Small Business, Small Business, or other. In accordance with VA Acquisition Regulation 852.219-10 a SDVOSB is defined as a small business concern, not less than 51% of which is owned by service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51% of the stock of which is owned by service-disabled veterans (or eligible surviving spouses). Further the management and daily business operations are controlled by service-disabled veterans (or eligible surviving spouses) or, in the case of a service-disabled veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. In addition the business meets size standard for NAICS Code 621512 stated above and is verified for ownership and control and is so listed in the Vendor Information Pages database, http://www.VetBiz.gov. Moreover qualified SDVOSB concern agree that in the performance of the contract, at least 50% of the cost of personnel for contract performance will be spent for employees of the concern or employees of other service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns. Contractors responding to this Sources Sought Notice need to provide the following information to Rachel.turk@va.gov no later than noon on Friday 16 July 2010: Company Name, Address, Phone Number, Point of Contact, Teaming Arrangements (i.e. subcontracts) and Socioeconomic Status.
