Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36 and DFARS Change Notice 20090729. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 336412 size standard 1,000 employees. Reference number F1Q2AM0103AG01 Repais of DSC-101M3 Tester is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). IAW FAR 252.204-7004, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). To register, please visit http://www.ccr.gov. Offerors shall electronically complete FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items at Website http://www.bpn.gov/orca. Oral quotes will not be accepted. Quotes must be submitted on an all or none basis. Your quote must include discount terms, delivery date, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS number. SET-ASIDE This requirement has no business set-aside. Description of requirement CLIN Item Description QTY Unit 0001-AA Repair the DSC-101M3 by replacing 1 EA \ the meter, mount, and knobs. There is an urgency to complete all work and to have this requirement invoiced prior to 20 September 2010. This is due to fiscal year constraints. Please review Statement of Work at the end of this solicitation for complete requirement. Freight On Board (FOB) The FOB for this requirement will be destination for all items. The scope of work for this profect is as follows in the Statement of Work (SOW): The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals unless otherwise specified. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made unless prior approval is given in writing by the Contracting Officer (CO). 436 AMXS CTK will send the tester set to the company by mail. 2. The DSC-101M3 is used for the following: The DSC-101M3 is used to troubleshoot the TF-39 Engine Vibration system through MADARS. When connected to the engine it is used to generate a signal which is processed by MADARS into a wave form. By analyzing this wave form, or lack thereof, technicians can determine the appropriare part or harness which is malfunctioning. It can also be used to shoot back into the vibration transducers to determine if one of the two transducers is malfunctioning. 3. The current state of the DSC-101M3: The meter is broken out of the mount. The vernier knob is broken, not allowing the technician to input the appropriate signal. And the portion of the tester that sends the signal back into the transducers is not functioning properly. 4. The following is required: The DSC-101M3 needs a complete over haul replacing all broken knobs and gages
