- Description
- The purpose of this market survey is to identify to the Government potential sources interested in this procurement as either the prime contractor or a subcontractor. The CECOM Software Engineering Center (SEC) is responsible for providing life cycle software support for Mission Critical Defense Systems (MCDSs). The goals of the SEC are to: 1) establish/maintain Post Production Software Support (PPSS) for fielded systems, and 2) provide software engineering support for systems both deployed and under upgrade. The contractor shall support the PPSS for both the AN/USC-28(V) Satellite Communications Set (SCS) and the AN/FSC-115, AN/GSC-63, and AN/TSC-133 Defense Satellite Communication System (DSCS) Electronic Counter Counter Measures (ECCM) Communications Subsystem (DECS) and the Contingency DECS (CDECS), with the PPSS efforts fairly evenly split between the systems. This contract will establish the requirements for level of effort base contract of one year, with four one year options, for the acquisition of PPSS. This PPSS support will consist primarily of the correction of software defects/deficiencies/errors, and the implementation of software refinements and enhancements to the operational and support software for these systems.
