Description: RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. A firm fixed price Task Order has been awarded to Perkins & Will, Inc., 1382 Peachtree Street, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30309, to Correct Mechanical System Deficiencies at the Agricultural Research Service, Plant Sciences Institute (PSI), Building 010A, BARC-West, Beltsville, Maryland. Work includes inspection; preparing list of deficiencies; commissioning plan; draft commissioning report; final commissioning report, etc., to Re-Commission the building. This task order was awarded against indefinite quantity contract AG-3K15-C-08-0016 for A-E Services. The contract was competed in accordance with the Brooks Act and FAR 36.6 Architectural and Engineering (A-E) services. The selection of Perkins & Will, Inc., was based upon criteria which included the following: overall technical expertise, specialized technical knowledge, specialized knowledge of the location where the work will be performed, and an internal analysis of costs.
