- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source contract to CQ-Roll Call, Inc. CQ-Roll Call, Inc. provides daily news on congressional action, available amendments, archive information, bill comparison and analysis, bill activity, and information on the federal budget and appropriation process, among other information. CQ-Roll Call, Inc is the only known vendor capable of providing this information. The period of performance for this purchase order is one year, with four option years. The date of award is July 2, 2010. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
