Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. This requirement is for a 5-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the MK 1, 2, 3, & 7 Cavity Charge Containers, with a minimum/maximum quantity of 50/5,000 of each configuration to be procured. No First Article units will be required. This acquisition is set aside for small business. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database and must be certified under the Joint Certification Program in order to receive the technical package. The technical package will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities at the same time the solicitation is posted. Fedbizopps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. Inspection will be conducted at the contractor's facility and Acceptance will be at destination. Factors to be considered by the Government for an award will be past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available at or about 8 July 2010 at the following address: http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/pages/Solicitations.aspx. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
