Description
THIS REQUIREMENT IS HEREBY CANCELLED. The NAICS Code is 611430. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. Under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-07-G-5438, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Order on a sole source basis to BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., Armaments Systems Division, Louisville, Kentucky 40214-2683. The Contractor will develop and conduct one (1) one-week MK 75 MOD 0 Organizational Level Operators and Maintainer's Remedial Training Course for the approximately twelve (12) U.S. Navy/U.S. Coast Guard individuals. Based upon the requirements stated in the Technical Instruction, the effort requires the services of two (2) contractor instructors for nine (9) hours per day, five (5) days per week, not to exceed (NTE) one (1) week. The course shall be a Contractor Format Course (CFC) and not to any specific Navy Education and Training requirements. Training shall be intended for a 76-mm MK 75 gunner's mate who has not had any contact with a 76-mm MK 75 MOD 0 Gun Mount. The training shall be sufficient for the students or attendees to understand the general design, performance, operation and maintenance of the 76-mm MK 75 MOD 0 Gun Mount. This shall include all pre-fire and post-fire maintenance procedures, misfire procedures and regularly scheduled maintenance, as recommended by the technical manuals and/or Maintenance Index Pages (MIP) or maintenance requirements cards. The instruction at a minimum shall cover maintenance and misfire handling procedures demonstrated on a working gun mount, as listed in the Technical Instruction. The instruction shall include an overview and general functional description of all major subsystems of the gun mount. Period of Performance: Nine (9) months after receipt of order (ARO). BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., ASD, is the only known company with the requisite technical qualifications and facilities to perform the work in the required timeframe.
