Description
Fifteen (15) days after publication of this notice, the Tactical Technology Office (TTO) of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Ktech Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Ktech Corporation is the only known source with the resources, in-depth knowledge and experience to support telemetry collection during the next flight test of the Falcon Hypersonic Technology Vehicle (HTV-2). The purchase order will fulfill the need for pre-mission planning efforts. The Ktech Corporation assets were used during the first flight test and have a proven capability to collect telemetry along the HTV-2 flight path. All Government owned assets that have similar capabilities to Ktech Corporation's assets will also be used during the flight test. The objective of the flight test is to demonstrate the technologies necessary for long duration hypersonic flight. The estimated value of this effort is $75,000. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Notwithstanding this notice, any offeror that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement as stated herein may submit a response which, if received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing to Mr. Christopher L. Glista, Contracting Officer, DARPA'/CMO, 3701 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22203-1714, email: christopher.glista@darpa.mil. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
