- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W58RGZ-10-D-0049. Description: This requirement is for a modification to the existing Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (Bell) Armed Scout Helicopter (ASH) Engineering Services and Technical Support Contract to incorporate the CY12 requirements. The engineering services are in support of the aircraft managed by the ASH Project Office for OH-58A/C, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior (KW), KW Cockpit and Sensor Upgrade Program (CASUP), UH-1, TH-67 and the FMS 407 Armed Scout Helicopter. Justification and Approval applies for other than full and open competition at FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source or only a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to conduct a sole source modification to the approved source, Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (BHTI), Hurst, TX. Only an approved source will be considered for award.
