- On or about July 19, 2010, the National Park Service will be issuing a Request for Bid, #I4340100014, to provide custodial services for Fort McHenry National Monument and Hampton National Historic Site, Baltimore, MD212630. This solicitation will be issued electronically (paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available) on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and the Federal Business Opportunity website, https://www.fbo.gov/. Solicitation documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, TIFF and Adobe PDF formats. Contractors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http//ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notification will be sent.Scope of work: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to provide daily custodial services for two sites, Fort McHenry National Monument, Baltimore, MD 21230 and Hampton Historic Site, Towson, MD 21286. The NAICS code and size standard for this procurement are 561720 and $16.5Million. The proposed period of performance is from October 1, 2010 - Sept. 30, 2011(base period) plus four option year periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsive Contractor submitting the lowest price technically acceptable bid. Additional information may be obtained by submitting a request in writing to Karen Umstot. To receive consideration, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration and have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Contractor must provide Dun and Bradstreet number with quote. This procurement is set aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) contractors in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19.13. All questions must be in writing and may be submitted to Gettysburg National Military Park, Administration-Karen Umstot, 1000 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA, 17325 or emailed to karen.umstot@nps.gov.Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests being sent via mail must contain a verifiable return address or they will not be opened.
