Description
***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is July 22, 2010.*** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. This proposed procurement listed herein is a Total Small Business Set Aside per FAR 19.502-2(b). This project will be a Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the services specified. Contract performance time will be identified on individual task orders. The Government intends to award up to three Contracts resulting from this solicitation for the line transect surveys (item 2) and up to three Contracts for the 100 meter search surveys and tree climbing (item 1). Estimated date offers will be due: August 23, 2010. Estimated start work date is September 7, 2010. Description Work includes: The Contractor shall provide all services necessary for the collection of field data on Red Tree Voles (RTV) to include line transect surveys, 100 meter search surveys and tree climbing. The Contractor shall, considering given resource objectives for the work unit, develop a plan of operation to accomplish these objectives, organize, and direct all the equipment and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. All work shall be performed in accordance with these specifications and "SURVEY PROTOCOL FOR THE RED TREE VOLE (Arborimus longicaudus)" Version 2.0 and Version 2.1 revised October 2002. (C.3.1.b). The Contractor may submit an offer on one or both line items listed in the solicitation. Location Project areas are located in Tillamook, Yamhill, Lincoln, Polk, Marion, Linn, Benton, Lane and Douglas Counties on the Siuslaw and Willamette National Forests and the Salem BLM District.
