- Uncompahgre Mesas Stewardship Project is primarily a fuels reduction contract with sawtimber and non-sawtimber removal from approximately 558 acres. Contract work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of sawtimber, non sawtimber, and biomass of various species, fireline construction and road obliteration. Estimated volume is 5150 CCF. This project is being advertised using full and open competition, and as such it is open to small and large business concerns. The solicitation for this project will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov) on or about July 21, 2010. The solicitation for this project will only be made available through the FBO website. Show Me Trip - will be scheduled some time the week of August 2. The solicitation will have specific dates for the show me trip.
