- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) entitled "Patient-Centered Medical-Health Home (PCMHH) Initiative". The purpose of this proposed contract is to encourage and support health center efforts to undergo rigorous and comprehensive survey processes (such as recognition or certification) and achieve national benchmarks that demonstrate the highest standards of health care quality. The PCMHH Initiative will support the Health Center Program in its efforts to promote a patient-centered, primary medical/health care home for millions of the Nation's underserved people, assuring access to comprehensive, culturally competent, quality primary health care services. HRSA anticipates that this contract will result in an increase in the number of health centers seeking distinction as a PCMHH. The anticipated period of performance is a twelve (12) month base year and four (4) twelve (12) month option years not to exceed a five year period. This is a new/similar requirement and is a full and open competitive acquisition which will result in award of a cost reimbursement type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541990 "All other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services" and the small business size in dollars is $7.0m. Solicitation Number HRS36648 will be posted on or about July 23, 2010 with a projected closing date on or about August 23, 2010.
