- NAICS Code: 333315 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), National Enforcement Investigations Center (NEIC) in Denver, Colorado, intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part Thirteen, SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures, to FLIR Systems, Incorporated of North Billerica, Massachusetts. This purchase will provide a FLIR GF320 infrared (IR) camera, two IR lenses, and on site training for up to 12 EPA staff. NEIC currently owns two FLIR IR cameras that it uses in support of EPA's air toxics initiative and is purchasing the GF320 model for its enhanced monitoring and record keeping capabilities. FLIR is the only brand that will satisfy the Agency's need as NEIC requires that this new camera be compatible with its existing FLIR IR cameras. Additionally, the FLIR GF320 is only available directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, FLIR Inc. is the only source available for this purchase. No solicitation or Request For Quote (RFQ) is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting the EPA requirements described herein may submit a response; which, if received by the closing date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
