Description
The Government intends to award a four-year, firm-fixed price contract on a sole-source basis to Raytheon Corporation, CAGE 96214. The period of performance will be a one-year basic ordering period plus year plus three one-year ordering periods for the following items and quantities: NSN 5998-01-281-4910AO, A3 Circuit Card Assy, 3 each per year. NSN 5998-01-281-8680AO, A7 Circuit Card Assy, 3 each per year. NSN 5998-01-372-5060AO, A5 Circuit Card Assy, 2 each per year. NSN 5998-01-372-5061AO, A1 Circuit Card Assy, 3 each per year. NSN 5998-01-308-0880AO, A9 Circuit Card Assy, 1 each per year. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. A solicitation will not be posted. However, interested parties may request a copy by contacting the POC above. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
