- This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1) and (FAR 13.501). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any vendor that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 12:00 PM EST, July 15, 2010. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed below. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to scott.c.bacon@us.army.mil The United States Property and Fiscal Office, New Hampshire, intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with Mountain Club at Loon Mountain for an Adventure Family Weekend. The Adventure Family Weekend to be provided from 30 July-01 August, 2010. The event will be held in Northern New Hampshire for a maximum of 80 people. The Adventure Family Weekend is to be provided for service members and their families who live or serve in NH. Facilities provided must include: two nights lodging for all families, meals included (buffet style preferred), on site access to swimming pool, flexibility with meeting space to allow for programming needs, optional evening family activities provided, and a minimum of four hours of family teambuilding programming provided. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All qualified sources may submit a response. Responses need to provide evidence the offeror can provide the required products. Responses must be received NLT 12:00 PM EST, July 15, 2010.
